TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Noticed this place when driving by Target on Ave K. The food is sooo good, unique fried chicken. All breast no bones, by far the tastiest chicken I have ever had. We are lucky to have this place out here. Go try it today! You will love it. Avoid the reaper! You will know what I mean when you get there. You are welcome
I had an overall good experience. Clean and nice staff. Line went by fast. Food is yummy
I tried the sliders and fries yesterday, while I will say that it was good, it was a bit pricy at about $15. Also I only received one sauce instead of two. The menu is very limited with only 3 main combos: sliders, tenders, and mix. Personally the food is not bad, but I can get more options and less expensive chicken at sassy bird or chick n bun. Not worth the price.

If you're looking for a BOMB chicken place, THIS IS IT, FOLKS! The menu is simple and perfect: 1. Two tenders and fries 2. Two sliders and fries 3. One slider, one tender, and fries. Then they offer you a choice between spices for your chicken; there are 7 different options for all your spice needs. I got the 2 sliders and fries. One slider had no spice and the other I got mild. Was ok, could've used some more flavor for sure. I did like the size of the sliders, not too big or too small. Everything was of good quality but lacked in flavor and sauce. I'm gonna have to go with sassybird on this one...

So hot chicken is one of my favorite sandwiches ever and I don't think I've truly had a bad one, but they are not all created equally. Some transcend and others check the box. Our meal was great and it was a pleasure meeting the owners also. They were very nice and told me about the art on the wall which us beautiful. I was a bit disappointed that our number got skipped several times and the hubby had to go up and ask about our order. My fries weren't very hot but my husband and sons were. Either way it was delicious but next time I'll get hot instead of medium.
It was our first time going there and it was a busy Saturday night and still the service was amazing. The food came out so fast and the staff were attentive the entire time asking if we were ok and if they could get us anything. We were missing 2 items from our 12 item list (our whole family was eating there) and they got it out to us immediately. Overall service was amazing. The owners were so kind, 10/10 would go back again.
Super bomb, about time we get a good hot chicken joint. Food was super fresh and blows the competition out of the water.
