I could die happy having eaten at Dave's. I love the chicken sandwich and love that you can choose the heat option on your sandwich! I'm not normally a coleslaw fan but the heat from the sammich and the sweetness from the slaw are one of the few marriages that I've seen that work. Only complaint is the wait but perfection takes time as they say.

Finally lured the bf to try this place with me. Came to this location because the one on the East side had terrible reviews... Nice to have parking but they should have two driveways to exit not one. The cashier was polite and quick with the long line of people. I got the reaper slider and the extra hot tender. Bf had the medium slider and tender combo. We love hot chicken sandwiches. So we searched in midtown Houston and found this gem. Chicken was spicy and really juicy the sauce and slaw gave it that fresh kick to it as well. Not bad for a fast food shop.

First time having Dave's Hot Chicken. Good food and great service! I def would recommend. The sliders are on point! Hopefully the one in Dallas is just as good!

The food is good but overpriced for what it is. I've ordered from here a few times, and I appreciate that "mild" is mild and "hot" is hot. I'll go over each item below: - Slider: A solid choice. A good slider. Service was really good although they did seem understaffed. The food was was ok, portions compared to price was fair but I wasn't crazy about the hot chicken. It was good but not how I expected. Definitely over hyped.

Staff has been real friendly each time i take my food to go. I just love friendly service I think it makes the food taste better. I love spicy food but the hot chicken here said "move out the way bish". this was definitely spicy like spicy enough to teach my tongue a lesson in spiciness! on my first visit here I had the hot slider and hot chicken tender combo and I m not going to lie it was a little bit spicier than I expected .
