Let me start by saying if I could give extra stars I would. I come to this restaurant often and usually have great service but tonight was exceptional! I was greeted upon entry and felt the welcoming energy. As I walked to the register, Taylor greeted me again and was so very helpful in giving suggestions and very patiently at that. I had never heard of this place before till I came across it and the chicken is good , you can choose the level of hotness you'd like, there combos may not seem big and are a bit pricey but the chk is bigger than canes, there hot chk sauce is where is at, that I would definitely recommend, I would say try this place out

Easily the best hot chicken spot in the midtown/downtown area. Can't go wrong with the sliders and Mac n cheese.

It's great that they have their own parking lot.. especially for being in downtown. The spice levels I feel are hotter than other hot chicken places (not a bad thing). The sandwich is small but big... so don't order the extra strip combo unless you hungry hungry. Crinkle cut fries are so basic but I loved these fries. So crispy almost like they were battered. Yummy chicken. The sliders were more like 2 regular size chicken sandwiches imo. GIGANTIC. I love that the bread had a hint of sweetness and was very soft. As chicken tenders the flavor of the extra hot was really good. A little less breading and it would Hv been 5* all the way but I would give it a solid 4.5 for sure lol

We came to Dave's hot chicken after visiting clutch city cluckers. So when we ordered the spiciest level at Dave's, we were expecting it to be similar or hotter, especially because they request that you sign a waiver. Not sure if it was the time that we went (Sat night around 10pm) but they didn't have one of the items I had originally ordered (they did issue a refund) but I was a little underwhelmed. Food is great! Service, well, that was an interesting experience. Went in on a Saturday night, my party ordered our food and after taking our order, the cashier ran outside and was gone for about 20 minutes. We could see orders coming out of the kitchen so the guys went in to ask if it was ours. A very confused worker came out from the back and started processing the food for the orders.
