TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

If i lived in Lakewood i would be here every day. I love a good Hot Chicken Sandwich. I've only ever been here for take-out a few times but both times i've had no issues picking up my food at it's designated time. The cashiers are friendly and the vibes are very relaxed inside.

Very good sandwiches! Spice up because the lower spicy levels aren't that spicy! But always great food yummy sandwiches and great fries!

Chicken was fresh and juicy and crunchy. Had good flavor fries were seasoned I have no complaints even the customer service was great
Tried it for the first time a couple months ago and I'm obsessed. Chicken is always so good and so are the fries. Must have!!

Ok chicken place.. it is like a canes chicken if you have heard of that. Pros: you can pick the spice of your chicken, I prefer the chicken over canes chicken. The slider comes with coleslaw on the bun which gives it a nice crunch. Cons- the sauce is flavorless. The fries overpower the sauce when eaten together. The fries are okay. The white bread that comes with a tender is not toasted. It's just a cold slice of bread they grabbed out of a bread bag.

What a great addition to the Lakewood food scene! The restaurant has vibrant pictures all around the store. I went with my two sons who are 1 and 5. It wasn't too busy during lunch on a Friday so the service was quick and efficient. I ordered the 2 chicken sliders lite mild and an additional slider with no spice and fries. Had this place after the Browns game and it was delicious. This was my 2nd time trying Dave's and I look forward to the Columbus Grand Opening! Chicken Sammies 1-5=5. Fries 1-5=5.
