Dave's hot chicken... eh it's good, but definitely it used to be better. I remember when it first opened in LA we would go there often and it was our go to late night spot. The quality isn't the same, but I guess it's still good if you're hungry and craving some Hot chicken. Make sure to ask for honey, it is a great addition to the hot chicken (which was neglected with my order LOL, guy wasn't really in the mood). This is my fist time in Palm Desert and my first time at a Dave's Hot Chicken. Josh, the cashier explained the menu to us, and the various levels of heat, as if he owned the restaurant. I asked if he's a manager and he said nope, just a cashier. It's rare these days to find genuinely great customer service. Hopefully the food will be as great but we haven't eaten yet so I will have to get back to that aspect.

The staff is so friendly and welcoming, the place is very clean, and the chicken is amazing, we get the sliders, we had the hot but couldn't handle it, so we went down to the medium which was perfect. I do think that they're reasonably priced with inflation being the way it is. We usually share the sliders which is 13 bucks. Don't expect "regular" fast food prices.
