Man it's crazy to say, but I think it is better than CFA I liked the breading better. I got a meal with one strip, one sandwich and fries. It was ALOT of food. It came fast and I took it to go but the place seemed nice enough to eat in if I had wanted and the staff were friendly in explaining menu items to me as it was my first time there. Would definitely go back if I was in SLO and was hungry for some chicken.

I went this passed Sunday with a couple of good friends and everything was fresh and service was awesome! The women Elizabeth was a great person to talk to and treated all of us so kindly! Definitely will come back to this place!

shout out to Ed and Jolene who are super sweet, helpful, and cheerful. I was not able to process my card when I was trying to process a takeout order and she stayed on the phone with me and assisted me to figure it out and to make sure that they had received the order. Ed greeted me a a great big smile and made sure that I had my order complete and ready to go. absolutely delicious food as always. Glad to have Dave's Hot Chicken in the SLO area!!

Elizabeth did a great job serving us and taking our order. She was efficient and communicative, and helped us feel welcome as customers. The food was excellent as well! Would definitely come back, and the music was great for the already amazing ambiance.

Food over all was good. You get good portions of food for a decent price. Service was quick and prompt. The environment was inviting and easy on the eyes, with good music while eating. My only thing for me was the seasoning on the chicken made me give a 4 stars. It was good flavoring but it felt like sand or dust like consistency. And if you are food consistency person you will get bugged by it. Every bite I took it seemed like I'd be breathing in the seasoning.

This Dave's Hot Chicken is the best ever!! The customer service is also the best here(: Big shoutout to Ruth for being one of the nicest workers here. I always look forward to eating here & seeing you guys

This is my son's favorite Chicken place. We came in today and got the best service ever. Jolene was our cashier, she was so nice, letting us take our time to get things jist right. After we got our food, I went up to get ketchup and Christene came out of the back with the biggest , nicest smile I have probably ever seen. It's truly nice to go to " fast " food and feel like you've been waited on . Kudos to you Daves Hot Chicken. Oh and the food, always fabulous.
