Highly definitely recommend this place, especially in San Luis where you don't get a lot of good fast food options. The food is FIRE. Awesome customer service too (shout out to Mr. Salvador).

First time eating Dave's Hot Chicken and it was DELICIOUS! I'm not one to say that casually since my taste buds have changed over the years, but dang! This chicken is super juicy and amazingly delicious. Beats Raising Canes any day. Service was amazing too, super friendly people. If I lived closer I'd come here everyday-it's that good...not to mention it's Halal too.

Wow I love the chicken here. The cashier Jacob was the man and helped us decide on what level spice to get. He made the right call for us with medium. Best fried chicken sandwich I've had in awhile.

Front register superstar Vanessa, @ Dave's Hot Chicken in San Luis Obispo was amazingly kind and helpful for just slanging chicken and fries on a Thursday afternoon. Food was meh. Don't think I will be back but service was great and the only reason I'm leaving a review... Thanks Vanessa, keep the stoke and good vibes coming.

This food is so good and tasty and the staff are really nice. They make you feel human. The whole restaurant was clean. And overall it was very nice.

I had ordered the thirteen dollar meal and when I received my food I had only one piece of chicken a-pose to 2 in the picture on the menu inside. Even the person I got the food with got the same meal and got both pieces of chicken. I am bothered but would eat there again as they still had great service only messing up the food.
