TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I had been wanting to try this place for a while but honestly didn't know where it was. We happened to stumble upon it and I'm so glad we did. The cashier Naomi was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. Both of us got Dave's #3 which comes with 1 tender (slice of bread) + 1 slider and fries. We added cheese and also ordered a milkshake. Everything we ordered was really flavorful and cooked to perfection. The tenders has a nice crisp but we're juicy. Daves chicken has Good flavor, always hot, and juicy chicken. Fries are crispy and hot. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Staff play good music in the restaurant and Service was great!

Food was great. Not your typical chicken finger place. The chicken is great. Very unique flavor and cooked perfect. Crispy and juicy. I got 2 sliders. Not your ordinary slider, it's a full chicken sammich. Go here. You won't regret it. Although I will say it's a California chain with California prices. A bit spends for some chicken.
