We've been in Charlotte for a couple years now but never tried Dave's Hot Chicken until now. It did NOT disappoint. The service was stellar from when we walked in the door. The food was absolutely amazing and made to order so came out hot and fresh! The chicken was perfectly breaded and it was spicy! (I ordered the hot). The fries were perfect as well and their house sauce was fantastic. Will absolutely be back again!

Always a great experience when we go to Dave's. The number 3 combo is the best way to go. Tenders are always super fresh and so are the fries. The staff at this location are super friendly and nice 10/10 would recommend

WOW JUST WOW!! Amazing food, best taste. The service is also really good the workers are nice and quick. The "Hot" spice level is just perfect!

Tenders (4/5): Big pieces of chicken that were lightly breaded and full of seasoning. I wish there was a little more crunchiness, but at the same time I'm glad they weren't over breaded. The spice blend was good (I'm right in between medium and hot) and I liked the dipping sauce (pretty typical thousand island type sauce).  Sliders (4/5): The slider is just a tender on a bun with some sauce and slaw on it. The bun is very mediocre, and since the tenders come with white bread, I didn't think there was much of a difference be... read more

I lived in Nashville for 11 year's, and Dave's is some of the best hot chicken I've ever had! If you like spicy, I recommend the extra hot, because the hot was more like medium to the 3 of us who had lunch there. I would have given this a 5, but the Mac and cheese was terrible, to the point where after two bites the both of us who ordered it had to stop. It didn't look it, but it smelled and tasted like burnt ash. But all you need is the chicken and the fries. I will be back!
