I lived in Nashville for 11 year's, and Dave's is some of the best hot chicken I've ever had! If you like spicy, I recommend the extra hot, because the hot was more like medium to the 3 of us who had lunch there. I would have given this a 5, but the Mac and cheese was terrible, to the point where after two bites the both of us who ordered it had to stop. It didn't look it, but it smelled and tasted like burnt ash. But all you need is the chicken and the fries. I will be back!

Everything is just, okay to below average, except the size of the tenders. Dave's is solidly in overrated territory. Meaty tenders - check, well cooked, but the chicken alone really doesn't have much flavor. Not Meat - love the cauliflower, crispy, juicy, and a great chicken alternative...but $2 extra...for a veggie substitute is a consumer crime. I think I've found my new favorite chicken spot. The chicken was so good and crispy. The chicken was so well seasoned/marinated as well. I got medium spiciness which isn't spicy at all if you're a fan of spicy foods. The sauce reminds me of Raising Cane's (which is one of my favorite chicken sauces).
