TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I took my gf to dave's hot chicken after I had it for the first time. The chicken tenders are the best tasting in town hands down. Really good seasoning, but not too salty/peppery at all. Also, the heat levels are very well done. The staff was super friendly and patient with us looking over the menu. My first time here. The service was great Tatiana explained the menu and added options to enhance our meal. The restaurant has ample setting. The food was good. I loved the fries!!
First time visitors passing through on our way home after a weekend in Tahoe. we were greeted by Tatianna, who welcomed all our questions and offered honey packets to pair with out sliders. one in the group ordered Mac and cheese and Tatiana suggested to tear pieces of chicken to mix in the Mac and cheese. All the food was flavorful and cooked to perfection.
Dave's Hot Chicken is our new favorite spot. It's so good and everyone there is incredibly friendly and welcoming. We love eating inside because the atmosphere for a fast food place is fun. But the drive thru is a great option and always goes quick! The hot chicken is so good it's addictive. Our kids like the no spice version because even the mild has a little kick. Rebecca is especially helpful! She was so kind to us during our long order for our big family.
MA was great I love her energy and she provided great service!!!! This is the best Dave's I've been to
i don't live around here anymore but the past 3 times i've come to visit my family I make sure to hit up Dave's. Ma took my order and was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. She is very hard working. The chicken is juicy and spicy. Make sure to add some Dave's sauce and honey to your sandwich it's a fire combo! The fries are perfectly crispy and well-seasoned.
Great service from the drive through from Ma! She asked great questions in terms of service & showed genuine care in her job. I'm not very happy with the pricing ever for the portions of food you get here. Other than that, definitely recommend it!
First and foremost, this place is next level DELICIOUS! My favorite hot chicken spot yet. So excited that got one in Folsom! Ma and Vanessa were so friendly and accommodating. I highlight recommend! Also, little tip- you can split one meal with someone because it comes with two items! So yummy!
The chicken was really good. I like spice (but don't want to turn my lunch into a food challenge). I found the medium and hot spice was plenty for me. Also, the cashier was cool. I'll definitely be back.
