Three of us arrived, two separate orders totaling three meals. After waiting 30 minutes, the cashier asked for our order numbers to check on our food. After waiting 20 more minutes we went up to the counter for an update. It seemed our orders were never entered into their system so they never made them. The cook then requested our receipts to quickly make our food. I've been eating at Dave's hot chicken for about 2 years now in the bay area. My family and I where passing by when we stopped at this particular location. I ordered the number 4 meal (hot) as we always do. There must have been some kind if mix up because this was reaper hot and inedible afer 1 bite. Same for my son he was also unable to eat it. This is the first time I went to a Dave's and the food was good but the tables and chairs were disgusting the service was quick and were friendly. I hope they start cleaning the tables and chairs more often.

Unsure why our order for a single sandwich and fries took 30 minutes (and still waiting) to prepare on a Thursday at 2:37pm. Not sure if they're having staffing issues but I saw 2 staff in the back and 12+ people waiting in the dining room twiddling our thumbs. A nice clean location with standard Dave's fare, but man the unclear wait times for this kind of to go food is absolutely killer for those of us with families and a schedule. I go to daves hot chicken so much but this time i did 2/21/2025 and like around 7:00 this rude girl would shut the door on our faces and gave us a leaking drink, we also waiting for like 40 mins for the car in front of us and our car to get our food. she was so rude and made me gag. Our food had strands of black hair in both of our chicken meals. She also decieded not to give us our drink until the very end when we had to keep asking her. It's Wednesday at lunch, and they don't have any ketchup until tomorrow. Would have been nice to know when I ordered my fries, not when they hand them to me.

This place is okay. I ordered food for my family for pickup. The chicken seemed a little over cooked and under seasoned. But it was hot when we got it so that's good. They also have a sauce that comes with the chicken which was like a sweet mayo kinda. I don't know if I will try Dave's again.

Want some chicken with that paprika? Went here wanting to try something new and i will never do that again! The chicken is COATED in about half an inch of paprika and various other spices that are nothing less of overpowering. Even the Mac and cheese tasted like paprika. The restaurant itself was very dirty. Tables were covered in sticky stuff and crumbs and the wait was insane. It took 30 minutes just to get one order. Safe to say I will not be returning here unless it's against my will.
