TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Actually not mid but expensive ngl, the only critic I have is I don't like how overbearing the salt is because after the 1 st tender I felt sick I couldn't finish it but it was good

Honestly, I was expecting more from their sandwiches. After weeks of hearing the big hype behind this place, I had high expectations. Unfortunately, the chicken I received was breading more than anything as opposed to any real chicken in it. I would just go to Chick-fil-a if I wanted a spicy chicken sandwich. I do think it is cool to be able to pick various levels of spice. I don't know if I would come again.

Super flavorful sandwhich with honey on top! Nice and fresh, crispy, and hot food! Sometimes that's all it takes for a great experience. Vibrant ambience and lots of employees to take care of the busy business. Drive thru was packed, no open tables, line out the door, outdoor seating was packed too. Seems like it's the craze right now. Cane's has some competition! A huge opportunity is a bigger dining area as people were jumping on the next open table once someone gets up! Nevertheless, I will definitely be back!
1st time experience at Dave's. My daughter and I shared Dave's #2, of 2 sliders with fries for $18.68. You get to pick your level of "Hot" which gets as hot as ghost reaper. At that level they have you sign a waiver. They offer regular soft drink options, like other fast food chains. Nothing special about the fries. Their chicken is okay. It was ok.. a bit pricey but the service was good and the place was clean. I would recommend going but wait until it slows down
