The staff is very welcoming as soon as you walk in. The food is always fresh and hot. One slider fills me up so I always have leftovers. Can't wait for them to start serving milk shakes again.

Dave's hot chicken is really good it's different for most chicken if you chicken lover then this is the place to try I will be seeing you again

Not a fan of their slaw, but easy enough to order without. Always busy...cuz it's good! Recommend the cheese fries. I always get it to go, so get a side of cheese and your fries won't get soggy. Yum!

Food was good, I ordered online so when I got there my order was already ready. I enjoyed the food itself & am glad I ate at home because it smelt like a sewer when you walk in. If I didn't already pay for my order I would as ready to leave and get my food from somewhere else. I also got drinks and 3 of the sodas I chose were all flat. I ended up getting tea. Feel like I won't be eating from there for a while and not because I didn't like the food, I just cannot eat from a place that smelt as bad as it did today.

Waited 20 minutes with ONE car in front of me. For $17.... A "large" drink and chicken sandwich meal with 8 fries. First and last time I ever eat Houston's hot chicken

Finally had time to try this! Sooo it gets pretty busy with wait times when you come here during busy hours like dinner. I suggest order ahead of time! I had to walk out and order on DoorDash to avoid waiting in store. I had to come back! I got the tender meal with fries. So I've tried other chicken in town and I honestly wasn't that impressed. I tried Dave's. The experience was less than satisfying. It may be because I ordered chicken breast. It was dry and not very flavorsome.

Ive ordered here 3 times and there's a language issue w/ English. They appear to be staffed solely by Latinos - no staff diversity for the language issue and they are slow and you have to check your order. I like the location but they've got to get a more diverse work staff and there doesnt seem to be a sense of urgency when the store is filled with customers. I may just drive further from now on.
