I wanted to grab a quick lunch and decided to finally try the new Dave's Hot Chicken in the Rivermark Plaza. The waiter who took my order was super nice and gave me a few suggestions since it was my first time here. I ended up ordering the #4, which is one slider with fries. Came on a weekend lunch time at around 11:30 am with some coworkers to avoid the lunch rush. The interior is nice and has a street style design on the walls. The tables and everything was really clean. I ordered Dave's #4, which is one slider with fries for $9.99. I added cheese for an additional $0.69. For the slider, I got it with medium spice. The chicken tenders are juicy on the inside and crunchy/crispy on the outside. I usually get traditional Buffalo wings. These have a dryrub then are fried. So nothing like Buffalo style. I tried medium heat since its my first time & not sure how hot they go. Even medium had nice heat that was not sooo hot you couldn't enjoy the food. Frues were crispy & good. I thought i had explored so many burger chains, what new thing will this one be and then i decided to give it a try on a weekday lunch break and voila! I was surprised in a good way and now i cant wait for monday!! I tried their online ordering website and it was pretty easy and intuitive. I have ordered from here a few times and the food is great! The chicken tenders are delicious but on my last few visits I've been getting the sliders, and I now prefer sliders to just tenders. The spice levels are accurate. I started at mild and now I always get hot. Hot is just right for me to feel the heat while still being able to enjoy my meal. Good sized portions and Tasty! I got the 2 tenders meal, in "hot " and received two pieces of chicken, two slices of bread, sauce, and crinkle fries that were seasoned. Added to that were some pickle slices. The spice was truly "hot" on the chicken. I like spicy foods, and it was just right for me! I could only eat half of the chicken and fries in one sitting and saved the rest for dinner, and it kept quite well. Even the fries weren't bad, hours later and cold. Highly recommend.

3.5 stars. If you love salty fried chicken, Dave's is a good choice! Never dry and the fries are addicting. Mac & cheese resembles the one from KFC. Also, random observation: the pickles here are bigger than other locations for some reason? Love that. The meals are affordable and there's lots of seating here. This location is a little slow, but overall gets the job done. I recommend trying the sliders; my personal favorite. Skip the cheese.

The wait at Red Robin was too long so we decided to give Dave's Hot Chicken a shot and I am SO glad we did. First off, super friendly and fast service. Huge deal to me. And the food? Even more amazing! Literal perfect meal from beginning to end. Husband and son got the No Spice but I can handle some heat, and the Hot definitely hit the spot.
