Went twice last week. Level 5 spice. Must visit place for friends chicken lovers, I've had the hot chicken in Nashville and I believe this far exceeds that in terms of taste, freshness and vibe. Service was also really quick and streamlined.

The overall experience is A+. Ordered online for Togo, love the outside the store pickup window so no need to enter the store and navigate to the cashier. Once stood at the window, cashier acknowledged my presence asking me to wait while serving another customer, few seconds later, handed me my order in a sealed bag. In terms of the food, I like the option to pick 6 grades spice level. However the breading is little salty to my taste. The chicken is well portioned and juicy. Will difinitly come back

I tried 1 mild, 1 medium ... I like medium, but spice challenged individuals may find mild to be too hot. Personally, I think I'll ask them to double the slaw next time. Service is fast, and they even came to check on us which is somewhat unique for a sandwich spot. Location is very cool, and appreciate the extra bathrooms that are all unisex.

It's probably too early to say there are as many hot chicken places in the South Bay as boba and poke joints, but it's getting close, and the spicy bird takeover effort is being lead by Dave's Hot Chicken, a franchise that is popping up all over the area. Love the simple menu and straightforward selection. You order at the counter and there are tables inside to eat or two tables outside. First time, I ordered in person and food came out at a decent pace. The inside is spacious and the walls are painted with graffiti-inspired art. Second time here I tried online ordering since I had my dog with me. There's a convenient pickup window--sort of like a drive thru window but for walking. Yum! A solid chicken joint, and they're open late as well! Order the sliders combo along with a side of mac and cheese and chicken tender. Ordered at the counter, but bummer their fountain soda machine was not working! Order was ready pretty quick and in the meantime, a worker walked around seeing if we needed anything. Dave's Hot Chicken is one of the best-tasting chickens I've ever had. In the two weeks, I've consumed their Slider with Fries like four times! I always choose their Hot option, and it is the perfect amount of spice! I love their Mac and cheese, it doesn't taste powdery. They also have kale slaw that is fresh and delicious. Good but not sure what all the hype is about. Tenders we're a decent size and the fries were soft yet crispy, but I also feel like you can get the same thing at a lot of other similar restaurants. That said, I don't like spicy food so I can't speak on the hot flavors (I got mine with no spice). The line also moved fast and despite a lot of people inside waiting, the food came out fast.

Man this chicken is something else I love the combo set up plus I was able to switch my fries for Mac and cheese and it was amazing.
