TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Delicious hot chicken. I've been disappointed with other branches but this one did it right. Perfectly prepared slider. The tender was seasoned perfectly and properly proportioned. Would def order from here again.

Love Dave's Hot Chicken! Their chicken tenders are sooo juicy and good! Even the nonspicy option was actually very flavorful for the weaker spice tolerance people like myself. The slider is also so good and definitely recommended! The fries were also seasoned well!

I've been just twice. The DHC in Ontario off Miliken was better. The chicken slider I got was hot and perfect level of spicy. The reason for only 3 stars is because I got maybe a very small teaspoon of coleslaw, if that. I had brag to my friends ( first timers ) about the slaw. Big let down. The fries are ... well, fried fries. Side dipping sauce helped. Also my nephew told me to try the slider with honey. Yes!
