TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

The food is good. It takes sooo long is all. Also depending on who works and I know it's hard to find loyal hard workers these days but sometimes you just get ignored. If you have a take out or doing gig work forget about it. Nightmare

2!d time I walked here. Paid extra 4 Dollars for 3rd piece and it wasn't in box. Server looks at me while I am asked to tip on giant screen. I did. Chicken rubbery and tasteless. You want great fried tenders with a nice vibe Go to Joe Schmoe's on Ball Road in Cypress! Dave's is really bad in comparison and probably won't last. Hopefully it just this location that is so bad.

Really awful, inedible food. It's so spicy it's nearly burns your mouth off. The second time we requested extra mild, and that time it was at least edible, although my husband's still came just as incredibly spicy. He had to throw his lunch away. The chicken is greasy, the fries are greasy, and how unimaginative to throw some mayo and a greasy piece of chicken between two pieces of white bread. Save yourself having to dose up with antacid and skip this place.
I like Julie asks US to to do the link to give them a second chance and it's just the same survey I did from my receipt and even after just going ahead and doing it AGAIN. I still haven't heard anything in response. Filled out three separate surveys on how bad the service was from the link on my recipes only heard back once and it apologized for something I didn't even have an issue about meaning they aren't even paying attention to our complaints or issues.
Unfortunately wasn't impressed at all...nice location , good service but the food imo just wasn't good..hate to leave a bad review for a biz but thats what's up w this hot chicken.
I gave this place a 2nd chance.. first time was absolutely disgusting. 2nd time was worse. I order mine lite mild.. bc it's way too spicy the first time... so I think to be honest bc I order it "lite mild" and told them it's too salty they made it ten times more salty and spicy.. so spicy even my husband couldn't eat it. This food taste like pure table salt and it isn't good in anyway, the fries are even bad (not sure how you mess that up). Gave this location another shot, they should definitely reconsider. The place was a mess, workers were screaming at each other, the bathroom was disgusting, and they still messed up my order!! There was a lot of hype bringing this here to 2nd Street, but looks like they do not care much for the community they are serving. Much more worth it to drive up to Canes for late night chicken instead.
