TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Everyone who goes here is weird. Just go to Popeyes it's better and cheaper. They stack their sandwich with so much powder to make it spicy but the flavor profile is so off. Dave's Hot Chicken is a plague spreading everywhere.
The food is good. Not my first time there, but the service is rather awkward and unethical. If your cooking line is behind by 40 minutes, let the customer know, not just let people order without warning them that they will be sitting there for "fast food" for over 40 minutes. I can't find a place to park? Where is the parking garage? With all those restaurants in that area where is everyone parking?
This location refused to give our family water without purchasing a 1.99 drink cup. They explained that the plastic cups they bought were out of code and not eco friendly so the only cups they had were for purchase only. So we signed a waiver to eat their hottest chicken and we can't even get water with out paying more money?!! This place has great employees, good food and good service but the area has gone to hell. They need full time security. The drunks, drug addicts and fights breaking out are ridiculous. Often the shifts are all women. Poor choices by upper management.

Overlay seasoned chicken sandwich and tenders, and burned chicken. But service was good.
My girlfriend and I went on a Friday night around 5:00 pm and we were the only two people in the place. Right away we noticed that the floor was very dirty and sticky and our shoes stuck to the floor when we walked. The counter where we ordered had food and liquid stains and looked like it had not been wiped down in a very long time. None of the tables had been wiped down and were all dirty. If i could give them 0 stars I would. They gave my order to someone else and my door dasher went to go pick it up and they refused to remake it. Ridiculous. I've worked in the fast food and never have I ever refused to remake an order that I messed up on. Really disappointed.
