We Dave's and have been coming here since they opened after first finding Dave's in Costa Mesa . So glad they brought back the honey, but we noticed tonight they are putting the fires in a cup, seems like they give less and they were not hit and fresh. Not sure why they changed it up . Why mess with success? and my Medium chicken was not tasty medium hot at all. Sad today always come with expectations bec we love it so much .

VERY VERY VERY Slow I would not recommend for lunch if you are working. Took me 35 min to just get my food. Quality was also mid.

I genuinely cannot believe how bad Dave's Hot Chicken has become. I hadn't been in 3-4 years, and this was almost unrecognizable from the Dave's I remember. The chicken was HARD. COLD. Dry. Completely unappetizing. Honestly, it was inedible. We barely touched it. This used to be one of those places you actually craved. First time at this location and likely won't be back. It took over 30 minutes to get my small order. When my order was ready, they called my number and another number at the same time when I walked up I handed him my ticket and he still handed me the wrong bag. Thankfully, I checked as I was walking out. The only positive is the cashier was friendly.
