TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

So I me been a customer of Dave's when it was a stand and also when they open on western, I order a medium spicy slider and got no spicy at all. I was sad. I also feel they there serving up the fries on the light side, but I guess times are hard and everyone is trying to cut to save here and there. Oh I got 4 sliders and for the most part were a good portion of chicken. Probably won't be back unless I'm with someone that wants to eat here.

Stopped by after the movies for a late night bite. Saw this shop by the Japanese town metro stop but didn't stop then. So now I'm checking out this location. I guess this area including the mall uses a lot of security guards. This guard was for the bank in the same lot. I wasn't worried since there were a lot of customers eating inside & in their cars. One of the best Dave hot chicken restaurants Good food,fast service,Good Service and the ambiance and mood is chill
I've been here quite a few times with my girlfriend, family, and friends. It's always a great time. The environment is great for a casual meal, and the chicken is always cooked to perfection. I am personally not great with spicy, so they have multiple options for spice level. The sandwiches take the average amount of time to come out (5-10mins) and the staff is super nice and open to conversation.
Why haven't I tried this place sooner!? My favorite level is the extra hot. I haven't tried reaper yet because extra hot is spicy but very enjoyable. I'm not sure how much spicier reaper is, but will update once I try it. The two slider combo is more than enough and I have leftovers for later. Service is fast and we usually enjoy it togo at home and the chicken is still crispy.

My husband And I stopped here while we were in the neighborhood. This location is very well run. The manager was out and about checking on diners and had such an upbeat attitude and high level of professionalism. The two employees working in front of house were also very friendly. The one working register also checked in on us during a lull in traffic. I tried the medium spice slider and mild tender combo. Everything was a bit too salty, the slider, the tender and especially the fries. The spice levels were accurate I thought. The service was great, the manager was friendly. All in all I thought the slider was the best and prob the only thing I would order again in the future. Also The crunch level on the tenders was perfect.
