TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

The customer service at this Dave's location is exceptional. As I was looking at the menu trying to figure out what I wanted the young man at the register heard me say that I'd never been there before so he happily helped me pick something & explained what comes on the sandwiches & the different levels of spice they offer for the chicken. The food is great. The environment was very friendly especially the cashier Isaac. It made my experience great.
Had sandwiches opening night. Very encouraged! Neighborhood needs it. HOWEVER - they aren't "sliders". The "sliders" are sandwiches. Stop lying to us, Dave's! Enough is enough!!! Ha

Came here for the grand opening. I ordered #1 with both mild chicken. I wish the bread had butter or something. The chicken was good and lightly battered, but the seasoning was all over my hands! The Dave's sauce is really yummy. I think my complaint with this new location is the set of the seats. You're kind of trapped if someone is standing waiting for their food. I think the chairs need to be repositioned or put tables against the wall

I got the #4 sandwich with fries and Dave's sauce and pickles. Tastes like a fresh Popeyes sandwich at the height of its popularity. Delicious. Polite fast professional service clean. Busy grand opening. They had a dj out front playing music and a door greater welcoming people in. New favorite lunch and dinner takeout spot? I would come back to test out the spice levels I got the medium and it wasn't very spicy.
