The food is over hyped was not a fan the flavor of the mild was strange and the hot had no flavor it just tasted like heat if that makes sense. It took forever to get the food was waiting in the drive thru for about 30 minutes. the workers were nice though so i guess a good thing.

I've heard tons of good things about Dave's, so of course I had to try it out. It just wasn't worth the hype to me. The food was cold (could be DoorDash's fault), and everything was soggy. The chicken was weirdly sweet and not spicy enough. I wouldn't get it again.

Outrageously expensive. Fries and Mac good. Chicken is fresh but the spice is not so great - extra hot was just heat with little taste. Pass.

BEWARE of the reaper!! Went to Dave's Hot Chicken for the first time after having heard about it on social media. We ordered 4 tenders (mild, medium, hot, and reaper spice levels) with fries and drinks. They make you sign a waiver for the reaper spice level because of the spice and potential associated reactions from that. Fair enough. The food is OK. Nothing special, kind of one note across the menu, so I would give it 3 stars. I removed a star for how slow the drive thru is. Sittting trapped for 30 minutes in a short drive thru is ridiculous. I wouldn't try the drive thru if you don't have a lot of time to kill

I'm kind of impressed that this place has such good reviews. We must have come on an off day because 3 large groups got their food before we did, even though we ordered before them (just me and my husband), and then when we were called up to get our food, one of our entrees was missing. It was 25 minutes before we were both eating.
