TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

ordered the sliders meal to try for the first time. chicken honestly wasn’t nothing to special was expecting something better flavor wise; it’s dry rubbed flavored chickens. coleslaw didn’t have much flavor aspect to bring to the sliders aside from the added crunch texture. pickles were a nice addition to the sandwich & the sauce was as well. restaurant space isn’t much if your considering dining in so beware if with a group!
First time ever coming here. The chicken wasn’t what I expected, I expected more of a spice rather than a chilli powder. Next time will definitely get a higher spice level. The restaurant was really cool with how it was designed but super small. Can’t wait to go back
Best chicken place! They have many heat levels to choose from. The chicken starts with no heat and goes all the way up to reaper, which you have to sign a waiver to eat.
My son wanted to try this place. We stopped in Saturday around 1pm . We had to park about 3 blocks away. We entered, and there were 2 groups in line to order. There were no open tables because all 8 were full. If you've never been here, you might plan to grab it to go. Luckily, a table opened up while we waited. We ordered and received our cups. Overall it’s a good chicken place. We got take out and it wasn’t busy at all when we went so we didn’t have to wait for our food too long. The prices are a lil much but you defiantly get good portions, I couldn’t eat all of it. The sauce is not my favorite but the chicken is very flavorful and juicy. I got medium and my bf got hot.
