TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Ordered Dave's Hot Chicken for lunch and it came extremely fast. The food itself was okay. I am a spicy food lover but this chicken is just hot, not spicy. Meaning the chicken was not seasoned just hot. The fries were probably the best part of the meal. They are actually seasoned. The sauce is also pretty good. I probably would not order again but it's worth a try if you like hot food.

After hearing so much about this place I had to try it out, it's honestly pretty good! The chicken is crunchy and stays crunchy even when it gets cold. The sauce is alright, you'll enjoy it if you like mayonnaise. The chicken was fresh and hot, fries were crispy, and the pickles are perfect as a palette cleanser between bites. This place in particular was pretty spacious, so I enjoyed that. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great. The staff was very friendly and helped we decide in what to order. So over all the service and food were great, I got the medium chicken sandwich and I would recommend it. I would come back and try the Dave's bites!
