TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Hot is HOT. I have a high tolerance for spice and this was equal part fire and flavor. Food was ready quickly and we did to go. I've had Hattie Bs and Prince's and this is comparable- probably less oily/slightly drier on the outside but chicken is still very juicy. I haven't found too many quick/to go hot chicken places in the Denver Metro north area..this place hits the spot.

The recipe is not southern. It's basically chicken tenders that have been powdered down with some red spicy powder. I didn't see anybody frying chicken in the restaurant. I guess it comes in frozen and then y'all microwave it. I guess if you've never had real fried chicken you don't know what to expect but let me tell you right now. It is not real fried chicken. Two people cost 30 bucks. Have a great day.
If I wanted to eat the eye of the cauliflower, I would dig through my neighbor's compost -- not spend $10 for an uncooked abomination. Their cauliflower has been great in the past, but I'm probably never gonna take this gamble again.
Waste of money!!! $20 for the #3 & a drink.... Would be ok if they didn't cake on the cheap (Indian style) seasoning. Completely ruined the chicken and I was burping up that terrible taste the rest of the day . Far too many other better & cheaper places to get chicken . The service however was great at this location
Am I the only one whose stomach hurts so bad after I eat here? Like I used to love the sandwich's but now I feel like throwing up and feeling terrible for the next 2 days.. I only get the hot flavor too. Something isn't right. Not coming back unfortunately..not worth the pain
