So wanted to see what all the hype was all about! Yes Longggg line took over 40 minutes to order! The only 2 reasons this place is getting 3 instead of 1- the cashier was superbly Nice! Asked me about my day and super friendly against the Insanity of people who's she's helped all day and she still had a long night ahead! (Takeout Review) Finally got Dave's Hot Chicken in WA!!! I ordered online to skip the wait in line, enter the store and go straight to the pickup area and my meal was ready! The staff are very hardworking & I have never gotten my order wrong so I'm very satisfied! The food in general is great as well! Very filling! In my pics, the orders are for Mild and Extra Hot! Juicy and spicy tenders, crispy fries, and good pickles! Don't forget to get extra Dave's sauce!! Definitely coming back after a fun night out in CapHill!!

Seeing the line outside Dave's Hot Chicken when they first opened, I knew I'd eventually have to try it out. No way was I going to stand there for an hour though. Waited for the hype to die down and went for the first time last week. I'm glad I didn't join the crowds - it was a good sandwich, but nothing spectacular. Mediocre. They used to be very good but the quality is been going downhill. Their fries and chicken are eh and there is always loud music. It's priced well but you can get much better chicken especially in LA

Dave's hot chicken is a great stop for a quick meal. Located in Capital Hill between Cal Anderson Park and Seattle University campus, it can be a bit difficult to find street parking and navigate to due to the constant road construction but is well worth the trip. This place was on my priority list to visit on my recent trip to Seattle. Parking can be tricky so be aware that street parking or getting dropped off are your two best options. The menu is pretty straightforward. Chicken, sides and drinks. The chicken strips were moist and tender. You can choose your heat level and quantity. Fries, pickles and toast come with your order. I was not disappointed. Service was fast and friendly. Great staff.
