Okay, I admit it. I've been sleepin on Dave's. I really wasn't expecting a whole lot. I love chicken sandos, but these chicken tender places don't typically do it for me. Dave's had me eating my words. The parking lot for this location is craaaazy. People can not drive, and it's just super congested so just be careful when you're coming through. This place is good. A little mild on the hot sauce scale( I think you can jump up a few notches here. Excellent fries. Would be five stars, but the tables all seemed to be dirty .

Dave's Hot Chicken is where the premier fried chicken is at! From the aroma to the friendly service, and the speed that the kitchen cranks out juicy, sinfully amazing, spicy fried chicken. Dave's has been consistently awesome since we've been going and we've gone many more times since then Can't wait to go back! Don't forget the Dave's sauce!
What a treat to have so many hot chicken businesses to choose from in the Pleasant Hill/Walnut Creek area these days! With that said, this is probably my least favorite based on food alone. I visited Dave's today and ordered the hot slider. The chicken was juicy, taste was on point, and definitely would come back again, it never disappoints here! Silvana provides excellent customer service as well, definitely try it if you haven't!

The best thing about this place is no matter where you go the vibes are there and the food is always amazing. Consistency is hard to come across these days.
With a name like Dave I expected the chicken not be be seasoned. The chicken looks seasoned because of the red color, but didn't live up to my standards. I enjoyed the big pieces of meat, but they barley put any slaw on the sando. It didn't even cover the bottom of the bread. Overall easy to order online, but wasn't that great. I'll stick to angry chickz in San Jose.
