I had never been to Dave's Hot chicken before. There was a lady there seem like she was the manager on duty and the food I ordered was perfect hot crispy tasty and just the way I like it. Based on that visit I wanted to give this restaurant five stars. However on the second visit just two days later the food quality wasn't as high quality and hot as before almost like the chicken had been under heat lamp for many minutes I don't know it just wasn't the same as the first day I was there when the managing lady was there. Recently my husband took me and our daughter to this place. Originally, I was nervous thinking that the food was only going to be spicy but I was wrong. There are plenty of options from no spice to reaper. We got two orders of fries; one with cheese and one without. I enjoyed the fries without the cheese but our daughter preferred them with. IMO this place has the best milkshakes. They only have original flavors; chocolate, vanilla, and possibly strawberry(?) I get the large chocolate shake and "upgrade" it with oreos. They... read more
The line was not too long and went fast. The staff were very helpful and polite. The restaurant was very clean. I ordered a medium heat slider and a strip, both were delicious, but I should have order a level up on the heat.

Food is good but a bit too spicy for my pallet! Sauce is yummy and flavorful and the fries were very tasty!
