This location just opened near my house and I decided to try it for lunch one day. First, I didn't know that it was halal until I came on here. It's not a concern to me but it's good to know for my friends and family members who it does matter. I ordered online for pick up to avoid the line as I know it's a new place and would likely do this again if grabbing a quick lunch and need to get back for work. We got takeout from Dave's Hot Chicken the week that they opened. I have been to a Dave's location before in San Diego County a few years ago. That dining experience was underwhelming. Thankfully this Dave's in Pleasant Hill is a lot better. He got a slider and fries combo and I got the mac & cheese. The food is pretty tasty. Their sliders are big in my opinion, it's the size of a burger from a regular fast food.

Delicious and spicy!!!! Service was quick and friendly, but the spicy chicken sandwich was amazing. Definitely coming back next time I'm in the area.

Finally, tried this spot! Got the slider and tender combo. Spice level was perfect (I got hot). My order came with fries. One sandwich was plenty so the tender was a plus! Chicken was very fresh and the seasoning was yummy ! We got our food to go, so we did not dine in, but it looked like a fun ambiance!

I tried Dave's Hot chicken last year at another location that left me questioning if I would return. I decided on the location in Pleasant Hill because they just opened up and wanted to try to see if this location is better. When I arrived the store was clean, not stocked on lids, straws and utensils but understandable since they just finished an evening rush. i'm a huge fan of Dave's tenders, medium is the perfect spice level for me it just adds the best kick! don't forget the signature side of Dave's sauce it goes for the perfect pairing

The food is amazing... especially when you consider the portion size. The prices, at first, seem a wee bit high but then you get your food. We could have shared two entrees between us and the two kids. Medium is as high as we went, but their no spice chicken is absolutely delicious. Don't be scared by the name- they have something for us wimps, too! It's a little loud with the music and all the people talking but it wasn't too loud for a conversation. Ordered #1 and 2 #2 with Mild/Medium Heat for family of 5. Food was great. Came out hot, was still hot after going home. Service was quick and speedy. Didn't have to wait long. The inside is big. A lot of space to sit as you walk in and past the counter area. Sandwhich is good with the sauce they give. The tenders also had bread which helped cut out spice and saltiness.
