Dave's Hot Chicken is where the premier fried chicken is at! From the aroma to the friendly service, and the speed that the kitchen cranks out juicy, sinfully amazing, spicy fried chicken. Dave's has been consistently awesome since we've been going and we've gone many more times since then Can't wait to go back! Don't forget the Dave's sauce!

What a treat to have so many hot chicken businesses to choose from in the Pleasant Hill/Walnut Creek area these days! With that said, this is probably my least favorite based on food alone. When it comes to customer service, Dave's shines! We were greeted with smiles, had all our questions answered, and received our meal accurately and speedily. I visited Dave's today and ordered the hot slider. The chicken was juicy, taste was on point, and definitely would come back again, it never disappoints here! Silvana provides excellent customer service as well, definitely try it if you haven't!

The best thing about this place is no matter where you go the vibes are there and the food is always amazing. Consistency is hard to come across these days.

With a name like Dave I expected the chicken not be be seasoned. The chicken looks seasoned because of the red color, but didn't live up to my standards. I enjoyed the big pieces of meat, but they barley put any slaw on the sando. It didn't even cover the bottom of the bread. Overall easy to order online, but wasn't that great. I'll stick to angry chickz in San Jose.

This location just opened near my house and I decided to try it for lunch one day. First, I didn't know that it was halal until I came on here. It's not a concern to me but it's good to know for my friends and family members who it does matter. I ordered online for pick up to avoid the line as I know it's a new place and would likely do this again if grabbing a quick lunch and need to get back for work. We got takeout from Dave's Hot Chicken the week that they opened. I have been to a Dave's location before in San Diego County a few years ago. That dining experience was underwhelming. Thankfully this Dave's in Pleasant Hill is a lot better. He got a slider and fries combo and I got the mac & cheese. The food is pretty tasty. Their sliders are big in my opinion, it's the size of a burger from a regular fast food.
