TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

This place has great food. The first time I tried it I wasn't impressed with the spice level but the Hot is definitely hot!
This is a franchise place and the quality is consistent to other locations. The sandwich's come with a sauce and some veggies of some sort. They have different heat levels. I like it extra hot and their heat level is good but not terrible like Nashville heat. Overall a good place.

Excellent food if you like chicken. Nothing else on the menu. The chicken is heavily seasoned Nashville style. Very good. They have multiple heat levels. Be cautious, their stuff is HOT. Servings are generous. I did not leave hungry. The restaurant was very busy this evening. My prediction is that this new restaurant will do well.
Pros - Sandwich was excellent and I enjoyed the slaw on it. Medium heat was perfect for my taste. Cons- meal prices do not include a drink. By the time you add that on you are over $13 for a small chicken sandwich and fries. Also my fries were not hot - they had been sitting out too long.

Still sniffling, it was perfect! I was so excited to see a DHC opening right here in our backyard. And this location is perfect! Justin and his crew are doing a fantastic job! Food, service, spice; all off the chart! I like the simple flexibility of Dave's menu. I couldn't decide, so a slider and a strip for the win! And ample spice levels to make everyone happy. I like the hot or extra hot depending on the day. It's legit heat. Fun atmosphere inside. But the patio was perfect today. Thanks, Justin! I'll be back... read more
