TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

The ambiance was cool, there's tons of interesting art work and rubber chickens around. The service was good enough, but nothing too spectacular. The food....was mid at best. For 15$ I got two sliders, one slider had a tender on it that didn't even cover the bread, and some fries. No drink. We were excited to try this place but it's really not worth the hype.

Has ZERO flavor on the chicken even with the sauce. Spent $50 dollars on three meals that taste like nothing. Don't waste your money!!!

I would have to give this like a 3.5/10 t hot mild which tasted like nothing but dust the sandwich was ok it just isn't as good as you would think...

Kitchen took a bit long for a single order during non-rush hour. Staff was generally joyful and polite. Crinkled fries were fresh, hot, and crispy. Buns were cold. Pricing was not competitive, given the product was not outstanding. Almost $14 for a chicken sandwich, a small fries, and a small drink. At Cane's, that gets you a 3-piece meal with medium fries, toast, and medium drink with money to spare.
