Visited this location for the first time today, and drove 25 min away for it. Ordered two Sandwhich meals and slushy's for dine- in. It took a while for the food to come which was ok in my opinion, just meant the food was being freshly prepared. Inside- could've been wiped down and swept up, the floors and tables were dirty. Food- finally when the food came, the chicken on the sandwiches were cold, we asked to add on cheese and it wasn't melted. I got cheese fries they were good and hot. The order took over 30 minutes and to make it worse the forgot the fries, the chicken was undercooked and the soda machine was out of syrup.

I didn't enjoy my experience at all at Dave's hot chicken. When I ordered my CHICKEN nuggets I got cauliflower nuggets instead. When I told them, they gave me a replacement order, which again was cauliflower mixed in with my chicken nuggets. I am never going there again and their workers are mean too. I know that this establishment is new but I don't like how they run the place.

Absurdly slow service. Have been to this location twice. Last time it took over half an hour to get food. Thought it might be a one time issue. The second time took an hour.

My wife and I have loved Dave's Hot Chicken and been to many of the other locations, last weekend we both got awful food poisoning (about 24 hours of throwing up) a couple hours after eating dinner at the Franklin location. It's a new store so maybe some cross contamination from new employees but won't be eating here again anytime soon.

This is a tough review but I'm going to be fully honest here and not just one of the many fanboys (and don't get me wrong, i fully understand why they have so many fans). To get the obvious out of the way - (1) the food is good (not great, not bad, but very good, especially in the context of hot chicken in New England, it just doesn't exist up here).
