Took our girls to Dave's Hot Chicken. I give it 7.5/10. Different flavors and heat levels was a perk, their hot is really hot! The chicken is dusted with seasoning which is different/acquired. But the chicken was hot, and has good portions. Smaller sampler sandwiches are perfect. Loved the cauliflower bites!

I'll admit it...I was skeptical when Dave's Hot Chicken opened. I thought, "Do we really need another chicken chain around here?" Turns out, yes. Yes, we do. This place is SO good and has quickly become one of my favorite chains in the area. The breading, seasoning, and flavor are all on point. My typically order is the slider with fries. I've also tried the fried mozzarella with their seasoning, and they were delicious. The food was spectacular with just the right amount of spice and flavor, especially the mozzarella sticks. The service was probably the reason I took a star off because of the mozz sticks not being hot and ready when given to us, they were actually dry, cold, and stretchy, still liked the flavor though. First time having Dave's Hot Chicken and it kind of felt extremely overhyped. The design of the place was super cool and the atmosphere seemed to be pretty clean. As far as the food, the chicken tasted like they made it fresh in the morning and threw it in the fryer to warm it up, it didn't taste fresh at all and the fries they served were cold. You would think if it took almost 30 minutes to receive our food it would have at least been fresh.
