Service and the food was top tier. We need a location in Hampton asap. I'm willing to be a franchisee. The chicken finger place better known for its sauce than its chicken which shall remain nameless just doesn't hit the same as Dave's. I had the duty of putting someone on who had never been to Dave's and he smashed his meal. Salute to the staff.

I recently visited Dave's Hot Chicken, and let me just say... I was not emotionally prepared. First of all, the smell alone should come with a warning label. You walk in thinking, "I'll just grab something quick," and five minutes later you're aggressively ordering like you haven't seen food since 2007. The chicken? Outstanding. This was OK...I've come here a lot recently to pick up grubhub orders and they're always packed. I will say the presentation of the slider was GREAT. It was VERY hot. I got "hot". There's two flavors above that and it's "very hot" and "reaper". Even though I got "hot" it was VERY hot lol. I'm not mad at that just giving you an idea of the heating scale. Fries were ok. Honestly it wasn't good enough for how busy I always see it. But I wasn't upset with the food. However I don't see myself in any rush to go back.

So glad we finally have a Dave's Hot Chicken closer to VB. Service was great, multiple kiosks for self-ordering and the food came out quick despite how busy they were. Don't miss out! The extra hot is my favorite. If you've never been the tenders are huge! Spice levels are accurate, haven't tried the Reaper yet.

Got a hot box with a medium tender & a hot slider subbed coleslaw for my side & a strawberry shake. I ordered online & grabbed through the drive thru so service was very fast & very friendly. Building is very fun from the outside. I only give it four stars because the shake was forgettable, had a chalky texture that I could've done without. Great chicken sandwiches. Among the best by fast food. It's really good with Dave's sauce. Everything is larger than its competitors, even things like the pickle slices. The shakes and rocket Creme slushy were great too. It's all a little pricy but well worth it. The service was speedy and pleasant. The murals inside and outside was beautiful. So colorful. Yessssss! This was 10s all the way around. Well, 9.8 but I'll tell ya why the -.2 in a minute. The people working were so charismatic and welcoming that when you first walk in you're just know it's going to be a good experience. OMG! I'm so glad I waited to go to the brand new location off Battlefield Blvd...this meal was sooooooooo dam* good! Plus, the service was top tier and the cashier Aaliyah was so gracious and helpful-promote her! The whole staff was amazing and the atmosphere is new, so I will be back to see how it grows.
