Everything went as smooth as we were hoping. You hear a lot of horror stories about getting home loans but ours was a breeze. We could always check the app and see where our loan stood. David was also very helpful with any and all of our questions throughout the process.

I feel that communication overall was lacking in many ways. There were many occasions where information was requested but not in enough detail or with proper instruction and we would have to submit it again. Multiple occasions occured where documents had been uploaded in the Stockton app but were then requested from me directly days later, only for me to have to inform Mr. Willoughby that he already had access to them and simply needed to download them from the app, delaying the underwriting process. David has a severe lack of communication. When we asked questions via email or call he either told us something and then recanted later on, or would just completely ignore our emails or calls. We knew very little about the process and our loan even when we asked about what the next steps were. Throughout the process he informed us a few times about what our closing costs would be but two days before closing it completely changed and went increasing higher then we had expected.

The overall experience was the worst that I have had regarding a Lender. If you want to know the details I will be happy to explain in detail everything that went wrong in this transaction. The co-listing agent still doesn’t have his money!

Better communication, frequent updates, fulfill any promises made about providing updates, become easier to get in contact with.
