I was encouraged to schedule my alteration appintment for my bridesmaids dress two weeks before the wedding. I even called two months before (when I received the dress) to try and reschedule it for an earlier time but they said they had nothing available so I had to settle for the originally scheduled appintment. I finally went for my fitting and they charged me $90 for hemming which would have only have been $25 if I didn't have to pay for rush alterations.
