Since when has David's Bridal become self service? My fiance and I went to the David's bridal in charleston wv 2 weekends ago and the service was horrible. It was on a Saturday fairly early in the day before it started to get busy. We were helped right away but about 3 dresses into the fitting we were brushed aside for other customers and our associate spent more time chatting with customers and other associates than she did helping us. The store was overcrowded, and we were rushed to a dressing room that had been overbooked even though we had a appointment over a week ago. The bathrooms were disgusting, the other bridal parties were rude and nothing was done about it, we were not impressed. The dress was lovely, but the enxterience was nothing short of stressful.

I used to love working here, but the managers are extremely unprofessional and rude. In my experience, brides and bridal parties are treated excellent by the stylists and CSR’s. This store might just want to rethink it’s manager staff. I put in my 2 weeks and the last week I called in sick one day and was told by one manager not to come in the two days following so I did as I was told. My mother scheduled an appointment 1 week in advance for bridal gown shopping for my wedding. My fiancé and I made an 8 hour road trip from Charleston, SC for this. When we arrived, the store was over flooding with people. We were helped right away, but instead of having an open dressing room on the stage, we were thrown to the back of the store in the middle of a walkway. One of the girls that was with my bridal party had gotten sick. It was very unfortunate for everyone and she was so embarrassed. As we were leaving, luckily she was outside, three of the employees were talking about it and going on in great detail with disgust on their face to other customers.
