Sales associate's are rude. I was measures there and ordered the dress online. When I got the dress the measurements were way off. When I called to see if they cited order me a bigger size asap because the wedding is in 3 weeks. She said no there isn't enough time and i needed to bring out in to get it altered. She said she couldn't give me a price range because she didn't know the prices but it would be an extra $25 to put a rush on it. No apologies for the horrible measurements they gave me. I was in on Saturday for a scheduled bridal dress appointment, and I can’t say enough good things about Sophia! She really went above and beyond for me, answering questions, making great suggestions on dress styles, and helping me to find beautiful dresses. She never made me feel rushed, and was really nice to work with. She made my experience something to remember. I really wish I could say the same for my bridesmaid appointment. I went on there over the weekend to get measured and I was told to make an appointment and come back. I went back for my appointment and they told me they couldn't do my measurements since I was in a wedding out of town and the bride was not registered at David's Bridal and that their dresses run different. Measurements are measurements and that's all I needed so I could send it to the lady altering my bridesmaid dress in the wedding I'm in out of town.
My first time there I met with Tomyka and she was great. She listen to exactly what I wanted, she picked out a dress that I didn't initially pick but I was very open to suggestions low and behold that ended up being my dress and I'm so happy that she found it for me because it's amazing! It fits me perfectly and it's not too much not too subtle it's just right. I called David's Bridal on Friday, September 23 at 2:48pm to see when I could bring two bridesmaids dresses and wedding dress for steaming. After confirming that the dresses were from David's Bridal and that the wedding dress alternations were done at David's Bridal and after telling them that the two bridesmaid dresses had alternations done else where, I was told that we needed to bring in the dresses asap since the wedding was on Saturday. My first experience was awful. My consultant didn't seem very knowledgeable and the store was a mess. My second trip in was phenomenal. Apparently, management had changed between appointments and the staff was much more professional and it was clear that things were being run by someone with much more experience. My third experience was with my future mother in law and it left much to be desired. Although a lot went wrong, they did try to make things right. My daughter and I went in the Rockford store on a Saturday to look at a dress they had on their web site. After showing the clerk the dress she wanted we were told they did not have the dress. As we were pulling sizes of a similar dress to try on (to get an idea of size) the clerk says the original dress cannot be ordered. Long story short, I went home and ordered the dress and it was delivered on Thursday! I felt like they didn't want to deal with us
This is my second marriage and I was in there with my future step daughter and she knew a lot more then the girl that took care of me. It was a total mess. If it was not for my daughter I would of left with nothing . I was in there last Saturday 9/24/16 and would never go back
We will never go back or refer anyone to go. As soon as they found out that we were L.D.S. They didn't want anything to do with us. The employee just walked away from us with no explanation.
