My friend’s wedding is October 10, 2020. We came by appointment to try on dresses and see if she could find one that she preferred over her original gown, which was the wrong size. She decided on ordering her original in the correct size, and was told we could pick it up when it was in. Went in with one of my bridesmaids to browse their selection of bridesmaid dresses. The man working the counter told me that “it would be a while” before she could try anything on because the rooms were filled. He then asked another staff member if she could take us under her wing and she reluctantly agreed. We did not ever request any assistance, although she was clearly bothered by us being there. I went to the David's bridal store in Evansville Indiana today and was completely in shock for how they treated me. They took 15 mins to great me, told me I had to look through the clearance dresses, and then the stylist person wasn't over there to help me with the dress as I was trying them on. I’ve bought multiple dress from them so far. My first time was really nice, but then I got a reception dress I wanted to exchange out and another dress. It was as if I was halting their whole world! I came in the other day when it was one lady and the manager- who I never like because she always seems so rude and snotty! I am gonna have to say I love the Vera Wang Collection here. The assistance with dresses was great but The lady assisting us didn’t write down the dress choices on the event. When I got there, the event didn’t have two dresses that have been bought. Now I’m scared dresses will be ordered twice. Color wasn’t on there either. Now I’m calling to verify. Hoping everything is correct. My phone number was wrong. I was expecting more.
Instead of attempting to be the least bit helpful, the male employee today instead was very snippy about myself and my daughters coming in an ***hour and a half before closing***. Even after being told repeatedly that there would not be any reason for me to try anything on today as I was simply looking, he still kept snipping and snapping that I had to make an appointment and come back tomorrow. My daughter and I and 2 friends went to look at dresses and were told straight up we wouldn't be able to try anything on because of the time! You would think if I was paying $1500-$3000 for a dress they would have been more professional and told us in a better manner that it was almost closing time!! I would not recommend them to anyone!!!!
