I ordered a bridesmaid dress from David's online and it was just too short. I went into the store to try a different style and although I liked the style, the length was still shorter than what I am comfortable wearing. I was told that if I ordered the long version of the same dress, we could get it hemmed to right below knee length (before I paid for the dress). They don't give 2 shits about you as a customer or a Bride or whatever you may be. Do not shop from this store. The worst experience I've had outta my whole wedding. The dress is the special part. Ugh
I had my pretty woman moment yesterday for the very first time! Went to David's with my sister and granddaughter to look for a couple of ball gowns. It wasn't busy but we got that cold shoulder like we were dressed inappropriately (pretty woman) only we were really chic. But we were dressed in the color of our skin. The store account (a woman of similar color ) acted as a translator between us and the staff. The first time I went to David's bridal and got my wedding dress I had an okay experience wasn't great but okay. My consultant keeping leaving me and my bridal party. Then I ordered my dress thinking I was getting the correct dress. I was wrong. I came back after they emailed me and said my dress had came in. I went to get it and the lady ordered the wrong dress... I was furious. Then on top of that they tried to tell me the dress I wanted was $100 more then what I paid for.
