I definately recommend David Bridal. my daughter is not a petite girls, every dress the lady pick look beautiful on my daughter. we had a wonderful time, and my daughters dream came true. She said yes to the dress.

I went to David’s to get an idea of the style of dress i like. If i would have found one i loved i would have bought it. My consultant Donna seemed to be more concerned on whether my hips would fit into a dress. I’ve always been self conscious about my body and she just topped it off. DO NOT BUY THE PRESERVATION KIT THEY SELL!!!!!! I have been dealing with the absolute worst of the worst in trying to get my dress situation rectified. David's Bridal says to contact the preservation company, the preservation company says to go to David's Bridal for any kind of refund. David's Bridal indicates they won't process the refund that the preservation company has to do that. I went yesterday to try on a bridesmaid dress. Don’t know her name but it was a blonde with short hair that was assigned to me. As I walked toward her, she looked at me and said in front of everyone “no way is she going to fit in a 6. She will need a 10 probably. These are European sizes” I am 4’11”, 121 lbs. I took all my bridesmaids in June to pick out bridesmaid dresses. First of all, the girl who helped us was very rude and was assigned to 2 different groups of girls and paid little to no attention to me and my girls. All of my girls decided on the same dress which they all ordered that day. They finally came in this week and the girl ordered ALL THE WRONG DRESSES. Harrisburg location .. scheduled an appointment to take my grandaughter for a prom dress. When i called the store I was put on hold and left there to die. Went online and scheduled and got my email confirmation. We arrived and assigned to an Assistant whose name completely escapes me. She did everything right. Gave us space to select our options. Brought shoes and attempted to accessorize when appropriate. We had a very nice experience as we typically do when there. Prices seemed a lot higher this year but ....

About a month ago I had made an appt for the York store and had a good experience with my consultant Taylor but the manager was very rude to my party and the stylist. So I made an appt for the Harrisburg store. Katie S helped me find my perfect dress. During my time slot I was not 100% sure about it. I had a great experience shopping for my dress back in January of last year. I was just recently in this month to drop my dress off for alterations and I had a terrible experience! I called down the day before and asked what I needed to bring with me — they said my shoes I’m wearing for my wedding and my under garments.. I get there, I get a receipt for $350 and I’m told I have to pay right that day before they can start alterations — don’t you think I should have been told this when I first made my appointment? Drove over an hour to come shop here and they closed early because of the weather!!!!!! Huge disappointment!!! All other stores around are open!
