"Ordering bridesmaids dresses at David's Bridal in Harrisburg is fun", said no woman ever. Seriously - why is this process so painstakingly difficult? And while I'm asking questions, one star is too many... how do I give zero? I went into the store with a photo ID and a debit card to order a surprisingly cute bridesmaids dress for one of my friend's weddings. I have problems with a salesperson who brings a bride to tears, who is arrogant and haughty. Instead of saying there was a mistake made and offering solutions, this woman stood there and said, "My people are well schooled not to make such an error in a date." Pig pucky, really. Then, this same clerk provided estimates to alter the dresses and stood there saying she would add the highest number into her estimate. Really!? We have 8 bridesmaids in our bridal party, and I also bought my gown from Davids bridal so I expected much better service than what I received. When choosing my bridesmaids' dress we had no problem. Only 5 girls were with, and the next weekend I brought one of the other bridesmaids to get fitted as suggested by a stylist. She told us we would not need an appointment just to get fitted but when we arrived we're told that after driving an hour we would not be able to get fitted because we didn't have an appt. So I had an appointment there before to get my wedding dress and I had a fantastic experience. However, this time I went with my sister and my niece to look at bridesmaids dresses. The consultant they paired us with (I believe her name is Jenna?) did not do a very good job picking out dresses and seemed very inexperienced. She had her attention divided because she was working with another person, which I understand. I have been to David's so many time and have always had a great experience but on 1/16/17 I took my bridesmaid in for dress shopping and our experience was horrible. First the girl acted like we were a bother. She did not even try to help us one bit. Second my bridesmaid found the dress she wanted and went to place the order to find out they "could not order the dress" which we both loved. Third I asked her to pull the other dresses for my other bridesmaids so we could compare dress, and she acted like that was a hard task. ... read more

People are generally nice. The bridal dresses were limited in what we were looking for. Low backs didn't really exist. Bridesmaid dresses were also limited, almost all had waists starting just below the bust. Yes we looked online first, but we're hoping they had more in stock.
