I am so disgusted with David’s Bridal. Between having an appointment for alterations and be completely ignored for 1/2 hour, not so much as a “someone will be right with you”, and then after spending an hour there for alterations they just call to say they’re not doing my daughters bustle on her wedding dress Bc they forgot to charge her. This is 4 days before she is supposed to pick up her dress for her wedding. She lives upstate so cannot just run down here Bc no one has their sh*t together over there. Assist everyone that comes in to shop Not just brides. I was there for MOB gown with an appt. when I arrived the 3 young ladies pointed and said those gowns are over there! Terrible. After trying on about 7 gowns a very nice woman came to help. I was done just about at that time..
I had a decent experience however this location shared my personal information (name, email, etc) with a Mary Kay vendor. I looked up their privacy policy and they directly violated it by sharing my personal info. Tried to reach a manager but only “bridal event experts” have reached out. I would have NEVER bought my dress here if I knew these horrible, shady and dangerous practices. This place is a mess. I was there for a wedding dress and the poor woman was stuck helping several people at once. There are far better places to buy a dress for the same pricing. The manager was completely unhelpful and could care less that they lost the sale. Don't waste your time here.

I had my alterations today, the cost came to $270, which included a rush fee of $60. I understand there could be a lot of work to be done, but that price is astronomical, and completely unfair. The alterations cost more than the dress. I also wasn't told about the rush fee from anyone at the store, I was told by someone who used to work at the store. I think the pricing for alterations could use a huge adjustment. I am extremely disappointed, this has not been a good experience from the beginning.

I went to Davids Bridal in Lake Grove last week to try on the selection of bridesmaid dresses that were chosen for me to pick from. It was so hard to even find one in my size to try on since most of the dresses on the floor were ripped from being tried on over and over again. Being able to tell if the dresses fit properly was nearly impossible with ripped hook&i's and torn or stuck zippers. absolutely a joke!!! your bathroom was stopped up and there was another working bathroom ( for men) that one of your employees told me I could use and 2 others said I could not. one of your employees Jennifer actually tried to stop me whilst I was opening the door to use it. she also rolled her eyes at me for another customer to see and the 4 ladies that were with me saw. unprofessional and rude. either act the way you're supposed to act when people are thinking about spending money or get another fucking job. grow up! ... read more
