I will start by saying, I have had 3 bad experiences in the store in Mesquite. I do not like to feel like I am not welcomed in a place. Everytime I go to the Mesquite store I feel that way. I have been told no by this store ALOT in the last year. The first 2 bad times I thought maybe it was just me but, this last time confirmed it is not just me. I would have given them 5 stars but the Manager there is very Rude & Pushy!! She really makes me not want to even purchase my dress there so I dont have to interact with her ever again! If it weren’t for Emphress, Jennifer & Dontavius they may NEVER get business bc she is NOT the face or attitude a bride wants to deal with when going to do something so special and meaningful!! I'm not from Mesquite or Dallas, but from Houston. On August 25, 2017 nasty hurricane Harvey hit southern Texas. Houston sustained massive flooding. My wedding is on Sept. 9, 2017 and my daughter's bridesmaid dress is still at the Galleria store (it was being altered). As of August 31st just 9 days away from the wedding we have no clue as to when the Houston, Corpus Christi and Beaumont stores will reopen. I decided to have the store do my alterations so I wouldn't have my wedding dress being sent all over town and the hem is uneven the lace and beading look like someone too sand paper to it. The beading I had to pay on top of what I paid David's bridal someone else to fix, but the hem they can't do anything because they took too much of the top layer off. I had a great experience when i originally went in to pick out a dress. I had a girl helping me who was very nice her name was courtney at the davids bridal in mesquite. I loved that experience with her. However when i payed for my dress another associate took over in which i was asked how was i paying?? I paid in full so that i will have no worries at the end of the day & was told my date would be pushed up so that my dress could come in on may 13th which would be my next dress fitting.
