I can’t say enough good things about my experience in the Slidell store on Sunday Sept 20th. I found the perfect dress. It wasn’t at all what I thought I wanted but was so perfect. My stylist Ashlyn was so sweet and helpful. The whole staff was. I was the only patron in the store and when I rang the bell they all came running to see my dress. I cried so many happy tears that day. My big day will be so perfect and I can’t thank them enough. Especially after being fat shamed at a local formal dress store, and my original dress... read more

They are a joke, I paid 1800$ for a dress that I didn’t get to try on. They have no cute plus size dresses and not to mention they still made me pay 400$ for alterations When it was their fault that my dress was two sizes too big

We were about to buy around 15 dresses (bridesmaids and flower girl dresses) and an employee said “you have 15 minutes to decide if you want the dresses or not, if you don’t decide, make another appointment because we are busy” I have to say....the store was empty! I mean, like 1 girl looking at dresses and the employees just talking in the entrance of the store.. They said we have to buy all the dresses in that moment if we wanted them before the wedding. No one is on the same page at this store. I had 2 different consultants tell me that I was perfectly fine to order a bridesmaids dress in January when the wedding is in march. When I went to find my dress I only had 2 options to pick from that would get here in time. It was a complete disaster, and left me with a dress I do not feel comfortable in. The manager also had me look all over the store for a dress I liked with hopes that he would "make it work" but when I went to check it out apparently all he could do was tell me ... read more

So obviously I didn't shop there but my fiancé did and all of her girls. She purchased her dress and shoes there along with her bridesmaids. The issue here is with the shoes. There wasn't a pair exactly like she wanted so she had to be fitted by one of the staff. When the shoes were ordered they were dyed. After paying for them and having them dyed, when they show up...they're too small! First she was told they couldn't be returned because they were dyed. I bought five bridesmaids dresses....from 2.5 hours away. they insisted they couldn't hold the dresses....they gave me "gift cards" for money off at shutterfly, of which i can only use one. this was not a pleasant experience at all....and when the five girls get married, we will find somewhere else to shop. I was disappointed from the getgo with David's.
