I had an excellent experience selecting my dress a month before my Wedding day. I had not looked for my dress yet since I was looking for a little something different. I mentioned to the sales associate that I was having an outdoor garden wedding. The dress I choose fitted perfectly and no alterations were needed. It went totally with my garden theme since it had flower petals across the chest and near bottom of dress. I ended up making my veil and headband piece since too expensive in the store. They were great to work with and got a very good deal!
VERY disappointed!! Two of my bridesmaids' dresses arrived with STAINS on them.. I chose David's Bridal for my bridesmaid dresses because I thought it would be easier and more convenient for my girls (who all live in different areas), but it was definitely NOT WORTH IT!!
Got our bridesmaid dresses here. Had the perfect color and matched with men's wear house ties. The store can be crowded on the weekends but overall great value.
I thought the alterations they did were overpriced
I searched high and low for the dresses I wanted for my bridesmaids, determined to not have to go through David's Bridal, but in the end they ended up having the PERFECT dresses, with the exact color I wanted! first of all, they tried to make one of my bridesmaids, who was 9 months pregnant at the time come in all the way in the store to sign a receipt when she tried to put her order in over the one. Let me say that she was due any day and that she was having contractions and everything. I was very unhappy with the lack of empathy this location showed my bridesmaid and other members of my wedding party, when THEY messed up my dyed shoes..... I got a "well sorry but it is what it is!" I still had to pay for the items at FULL price, after 3 MESS UPs!!!! . I would schedule appointments, a representative would call and confirm and then show up on time, and still needed to wait another 30mins before being seen! Why schedule an appointment? While I had heard some horror stories from other brides about shopping at David's Bridal, I didn't have thousands to spend on a wedding gown and am quite tall/don't fit in to most sample size dresses, so I ended up going to David's with my mother to look at dresses. Walking in there wasn't anyone to help pull dresses immediately (it was prom season and quite busy) so my mother and I ended up walking around the racks in my size and pulling dresses ourselves.
