I bought a dress from the Vaughan location and fell in love with it. Unfortunately, alterations ruined the dress so much I’ve had to change my venue and push my wedding day back because I just didn’t like how I felt in the dress anymore!! Got to this store and was told I could only look but not try on anything as I did not have an appointment. Very disappointed as it does not say on the website that you need an appointment to shop, in fact it says walk-in shoppers are welcome. Pity I won’t be shopping at David’s Bridal. I went there because it had been recommended to me by friends but after that experience I’ll go elsewhere.

We came in for bridesmaids dresses and were extremely disappointed in the service we received. Our consultant disappeared for the majority of the appointed and we had to find someone else to assist us. We indicated the colour we wanted and she pulled dresses that were not even available in that colour. Extremely disappointed, as previous David’s Bridal experiences have been positive until now. Next time, we will shop at another location.
When I purchased my dress the staff was awesome. They made me feel special and that they cared. The alteration staff who served me were cold and impersonal. If I had known they were the total opposite of thesales staff I would have gone elsewhere for my alterations. When I tried my dress on when it came in the I was told by one of the alteration staff my dress didnt sit right because I was short waisted and would have to be altered. Horrible experience.. Ordered my dress and paid as much as the dress cost for alterations.. When picking the dress up they couldn't find my file and my dress looks horrible even after alterations.

I ordered 2 flower girl dresses. My daughters are 5 and 9. The dresses were exactly $198.00 each total. The dress fit my 5 year old perfectly, however my 9 year old need the dressed to be taken up only. There were no alterations on the sides or anywhere on the bodice of the dress, only needed to be shortened. Just to shorten a little girls dress it cost me $191.00. Needless to say i was fuming on the inside that the alterations cost as much as the dress for a little girls dress. So $400 dollars total !!!!! Not impressed.... read more

Arrived at 10:30. Stylist was un helpful, spent most of her time at the desk on the phone. Didn't help me look. Other stylist I seen stood beside their clients and helped mine disappeared!

Worst dress shopping experience! The "assistant" did not properly mesure any of my bridemaids and their fabric was so thin you could see the undergarments, not to mention the lack of support and cups for the breasts!
