I wasn't told any of the prices of the dresses I tried on. I had to ask and the consultant was offended when I told her she was picking dresses out of my range. Speak up, I was still able to find the dress of my dreams in my budget.
The staff at David's Bridal were extremely friendly. I made an appointment and had an employee help guide me to the dress racks close to my size. The alterations were a little pricey. They cost more than the dress but it fit nicely. I had a small jeweled area that came detached from my dress during the reception but was fixed easily with a safety pin

wish they had all the dresses online in the store to try on, not much of a great selection instore. I felt kind of on my own when I went for bridesmaid dresses

Danielle is the best! she helped me with everything! after picking things on the website she had them all ready plus extras that she thought i might like! which one of the ended up being the one i picked. Great location!
Found a great dress, loved the staff - wasn't at all what I expected in dress shopping. They actually made it quite easy, and I was happy to be helped rather than pushed into getting something I didn't want. Ended up getting my bridesmaids dresses there as well as the MOB dress too :)
Bought my wedding dress in February for my destination wedding in October. The lady whom helped me try on several dresses was absolutely wonderful. She was patient, friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately I am not good with names but she is planning her wedding soon. I had my fitting done a few weeks prior to the wedding. The wedding dress only needed to be hem. I know there has been quite a bit of anti db sentiments on the boards but my local store has been wonderful. My dress hunt was assisted by the manager, who listened , and did not try to upsell me budget wise or bring me styles I didn't want. An overall GREAT experience for me:) (and I felt the choices for plus size brides were fab!)
