There was no one at the front desk. We had to call a number to have someone check us in. We had issues with the toilet (twice) and water running through the ceiling. The maintenance guy was good about fixing it as quickly as possible. The cleaning crew never seemed to make it to our room so had to ask for more towels. The breakfast staff were good and kept up with demand. The room when we first checked in was clean.
Rooms are a bit run down. Slight smell of smoke in the Room. Staff were friendly. Water pressure was very weak.
Very Satisfied! We loved everything about our stay here. Everyone that worked there did a nice job of keeping things clean and ready for the next guest. They were all very friendly and helpful as well. The only down side we found was the fact that since we flew in and were only using the shuttle to go to Mayo, there was nowhere you could walk to do anything. Not the hotels fault, just a FYI for the next person I guess. We would definitely stay here again.
Amazing staff There were many things not good about our stay. We were on the 4th floor and had major water pressure issues. After 2 mornings without water we were moved to the 2nd floor. Water problem solved. Rooms are not equipped with cookware or dishes. You have to ask for it and they have a limited selection. Hair dryer didn't work but housekeeping replaced it as soon as I called. It is supposed to be a no smoking property but several times we had to deal with people smoking right outside the front door. Perfect for use while using mayo clinic. Great service desk, worked daily to continue the stay as it changed daily. Great area. Would absolutely come back to this hotel. They have been amazing.
The kitchenette with full size fridge was nice. Staff will provide dishes and silverware upon request. Laundry on site no change machine though. Complimentary breakfast included sausages, eggs, cereal danishes, fruit cups. Only knock on property is the room size
