Dr. Castañeda is by far the BEST Orthopedic Surgeon in the state. I’m a complicated case and she also has to fix what another OS messed up. In addition to her being a genius surgeon, she also has an incredible bedside manner. She really takes the time to understand your case and will talk things through with you. She won’t jump into a surgery unless it’s absolutely necessary. I wouldn’t go to anyone else.
Dr. Castaneda did an amazing job fixing up my Achilles tendon tear! I’m on my road to recovery and it is healing up great.
Dr. Castaneda is very caring and took the time to discuss my medical problems. She also discussed a plan for treatment and answered my questions thoroughly. During my visits, the staff was professional and helpful in dealing with insurance and scheduling. Also very helpful with information prior to surgery. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Casteneda and the staff at her Simi Valley office. Truly a top-notch experience all the way around. The Heathloop website with daily e-mails from Dr. is really helpful in preparing for surgery and monitoring recovery. Questions and concerns I had were answered promptly at this site.
Dr Castaneda provided a clear and easily understood description of my physical condition and the procedure she planned for correcting the problem. The procedure went as expected and I expect that the recovery will continue as described.
